I was born…  Oh dear, we might not want to start that far back! Instead of time, let’s do place.

Actually I was born in Texas and grew up in Kansas.

I grew up in this house — surrounded by stands of huge shade trees. (Oak, walnut, cottonwood…) I LOVE trees!

I lived for a time (as an adult) in both Texas and South Dakota (got to spend time in the Black Hills and see Mt. Rushmore).  Now I live in Oklahoma.

Growing up in a small farming community in Kansas made for a rather secluded life. Hopefully, I’ve made up for lost time.

Here are some of the things I like/love:

Flowers — and spring. They sort of go together. These are flowers in my backyard in Oklahoma.

Digging in the dirt (some people call it gardening)

My cat (meet Oscar)

Reading novels and writing novels. (this is me with some — not all — of my published books!)

Teens – I love hanging out with them. (Since I’m barely 5 ft tall, I sort of disappear in the crowd!)

And I ADORE: My family members – especially the grandkids! (This was from a few years ago because we don’t get together that often for photos.)

I am not too fond of winter and cold weather. Thankfully there’s not much cold in Oklahoma! Sometimes instead of snow — we get ice! Not fun! When it’s nasty outside, I just stay all cozy in my office and keep on writing! 

This is a few bits and pieces about me. Now when you read my novels, you’ll know a little bit more about me!
